How one’s parents, teachers, and our surrounding supporters destroy the most important wings of confidence within a child.

This article is part 2 of my bullying Article. It was Surprising to see my 10 th classmates asking for an Apology for their bullying behavior after almost 13 Years. But not a single Teacher realized their mistake of spoiling the child’s confidence. What I find now are young adults with low self esteem because of the small mindedness of my pathetic teachers who are literate when it comes to the subject and completely illiterate when it comes to knowledge. A child is the greatest asset not only to the family, but also to the country. But due to the exposure to parents who keep comparing with the neighbors, or with the teachers who keep comparing with the marks, Kill’s the child’s confidence, little by little with age. What is more disheartening is to find this horrifying process still continuing. Stop blaming the child for her/his performance because even the teacher also holds an equal responsibility. Most of the parents display an unpleasant behavior before the kids, wh...

Depression

Depression What we have to understand about depression is, It can affect ANYONE, there are so many people who are suffering from depression, even without the awareness that they are having depression. A World Health Organization report shows that India is leading as the most depressed country in the world, followed by China and USA. In spite being top of the list i.e., “ At least 6.5 per cent of the Indian population suffers from some form of the serious mental disorder.” Which is a huge number, has gone completely unnoticed. But what comes to the surface is the huge suicide rates (in which India tops again in the world).   The inference that can be drawn from the above lines are that, mental health is directly related with suicide rates. What makes the mental issue more serious is the taboo attached to it. I have seen many people feeling so anxious and nervous, and when   I ask them “are you feeling nervous” they blankly refuse. Because of the fe...

cast and its consequences

“ The dark side of India was out. It was found that people were more interested to know the economist's   Gita Gopnath’s(IMF Chief economist) caste identity as hysterically googling for the same ” “Info from one India” WHATS WRONG IN THAT ? In most of the countries the people carry the surname which is the family name, which in itself reveals the cast or community they belong to. Few of the South Indian states removed that and just had the family member name as the surname. Excluding few Iyer, Reddy , etc.. Who must have felt very insecure as they didn’t have the confidence to stand alone without the community surname. That’s completely alright Because I‘m from the country INDIA where even Mahathma was given only to GANDHI instead of Mohandas Karamchand. Today ,most people don’t know the name of “ The father of the country”   i.e Mohandas Karamchand but everyone knows his community name “ Gandhi” Even so called the great Prime   Minister     Mr. J...

How 14 years old fought against the bullying by spoilt kids and biased teachers

Till class viii I was in a co-ed education. I never differentiated between boys and girls. Opposite sex never fascinated me at that age. I did well in my school, not because I had great teachers, but had a good friend. I was put in a new school so called great school in my city. It was a girl’s school. I was not afraid of change, but few students and pathetic teachers scared the hell out of me by executing a cheap and vulgar behavior and lacked common sense. These girls were so fascinated and mad for boys, their psychology was not normal. More they were deprived of opposite sex, the more they developed an attachment. The only words they were fond of - CRUSH, DATING, SEX AND GUYS!!! And for me, I didn’t even know the meaning nor had such feelings. These girls bullied me so badly that they made fun of how I looked, how ignorant I was regarding sexual desires as I didn’t know the meanings, made fun of my language. They just wanted me to feel, how dumb I was. I was a very conf...
