WHATS WRONG IN THAT ?
In most of the countries the people carry the surname which is the family name, which in itself reveals the cast or community they belong to. Few of the South Indian states removed that and just had the family member name as the surname. Excluding few Iyer, Reddy , etc.. Who must have felt very insecure as they didn’t have the confidence to stand alone without the community surname. That’s completely alright
Because I‘m from the country INDIA where even Mahathma was given only to GANDHI instead of Mohandas Karamchand.
Today ,most people don’t know the name of “ The father of the country”  i.e Mohandas Karamchand but everyone knows his community name “ Gandhi”
Even so called the great Prime  Minister   Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru took only Gandhi as the surname for his younger generation Instead of Mohandas Karamchand.
Because in India Caste is politics and politics is caste

BECAUSE WE VOTE FOR CASTE ;
WE MARRY FOR CASTE;
WE KILL EACH OTHER FOR CASTE;
CAST IS EVERYTHING

TO THE EXTENT,
WE EVEN CALL OUR FATHER OF THE NATION, ONLY BY HIS SURNAME
Caste is to unite people with same life style and bring oneness, instead we use to it to prove who is better.
When someone from your caste does something great it makes him the hero not his caste;
When someone from your caste does something bad it makes him the culprit not his caste.
But , look at the world just because few Muslims were terrorist the entire religion is targeted.
HOW PATHETIC?
It’s high time that we start understanding that caste is to unite and celebrate our differences instead to fight and kill our happiness.
Even our body doesn’t belong to us after our death, how far the caste is.
Please be kind to each other.
I finish this article by the following lines said by our Ashoka the great Emperor of The Ancient India-
“IT’S FORBIDDEN TO DECRY OTHER SECTS; THE TRUE BELIEVER GIVES HONOR TO WHATEVER IN THEM IS WORTHY OF HONOUR”
